The
Flight Deck is Canada's Favourite Patio The Globe & Mail's Travel section recently did an article entitled "Summertime, and the living is easy on Canada's best patios..." and talked about The Pilot's rooftop patio the Flight Deck. But what really stood out is at the end where they asked readers to weigh in with their favourite patio picks. Here's what they had to say: "We asked you to tell us your favourite patios and you answered. The most popular? It's in Toronto, it's above The Pilot..." "If the number of endorsements from Globe readers determined Canada's favourite patio, then the Flight Deck atop The Pilot would easily take the honour." "The perfect blend of business and pleasure. During cocktail hour you can rub elbows with Canada's advertising elite or wait until sundown for the always chipper birthday party crowd. But if you go down to the neighbourhood after midnight be ready for heels and hair. Trendy Rosedale/UofT kids have taken over the roof, and claimed it as their own. Much like their now wealthly parents did in their youth. The staff are polite and dependable – it seems that no one ever leaves this place. All and all, it's your best bet for an unprententious Yorkville pint" – Lisa M. "The patio at The Pilot is one of the greatest in Toronto. Not only are you treated to a spectacular view of the Toronto skyline, but you are swept off your feet with speedy, courteous servers. It doesn't hurt that your servers are 'beautiful people,' as are your fellow patrons. On warm, summer nights the roof is open to the stars. If it happens to be a cool evening, the roll-out roof and patio heaters make it comfy cozy. A touch of heaven amidst the glass and concrete towers" – Judi C. We want to thank everyone for their continued support and amazing comments. We are glad that you enjoy coming to The Pilot and our rooftop patio the Flight Deck and we hope to see you very soon.
